By trading with us and using our service you accept our terms and conditions as specified below. These apply to trading with Teaka (using our website address: www.teaka.life). If you purchase our goods from another platform or retailer, you will be subject to that company's terms and conditions.
Terms of Service
Processing and Shipping: Processing and handling of orders will take between 2-4 business days. Once the order has been fulfilled and has been shipped, an email will provide you with a tracking number for your order. During Covid there may be delays experienced.
If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss the issue. We will investigate and see what we can offer to ensure that you are never disappointed with a Teaka product again.
Products: If you are purchasing online and are unsure on the product or flavour, please send an email to [email protected] or call us and we will assist you. Same applies if you are inquiring into future products.
Payment: All payment methods are accepted for purchases made online or via the telephone/other. Teaka's website uses Stripe and Square payment gateways. It accepts Mastercard, VISA, American Express (Amex), JCB as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay with Stripe activated. In addition we support Inter Bank Transfer (BACS) and Cash on Pickup/Delivery. Customers who purchase online will have stock shipped directly to them or Teaka will agree on a pickup/delivery location.
Fees: Potential additional fees may be incurred in the following situations:
-Restocking: If your order is cancelled for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, incorrect shipping information or the like, you may be charged a restocking and/or cancellation fee or ten percent (10%) of the order, including shipping.
-Order Changes: Changes cannot be made to your order once it has been placed and accepted by Teaka. This includes but not limited to combining orders, adding items, swapping products, changing the shipping address or the like. Re-deliveries will be at the customer's cost. If an attempt to make a delivery is unsuccessful and the package is returned to us, the package will not be resent until the customer makes contact with us. Re-delivery fees start at $10 and can differ depending on location and package size.
Volume Purchases: Maximum limits on purchases apply when we have sales on. We reserve the right to refuse sale/refund on an order if we believe you have poor intentions or are going to attempt to re-sell a Teaka product without consent.
Teaka also has volume limits on orders placed directly on our website. This is due to regulations in our Victorian liquor license. Customers buying products on our website are limited to two 700mL bottles of spirit per order. For larger volume purchases, please talk to one of our partners such as Kaddy or a liquor retailer.
Limitation of liability: Subject to Law, Teaka makes no representation and gives no warranty in relation to any sale or supply of Goods by Teaka to you. You acknowledge that you have not relied upon any representation or warranty made by or on behalf of Teaka in relation to any sale or supply of Goods pursuant to these Terms and Conditions,
Medical conditions: Teaka sells alcoholic consumable products to which we do not claim at any point are a meal substitute for a normal recommend diet, nor do we recommend or claim to consume our products in order to improve your health. You acknowledge that alcohol may be detrimental to your health particularly if consumed in high volumes. If you choose to consume Teaka's products in high volumes, you do so at your own risk. Alcohol may be detrimental to the health of pregnant women.
Refunds: We accept returns and product exchanges in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Teaka reserves the right to ask for the product to be returned prior to offering a refund, exchange, credit or discount to ensure the product is faulty and/or damaged. Teaka reserves the right to asses the age and condition of the returned product prior to offering a repair, refund or exchange. If the product does appear to be faulty and/or damaged, Teaka will then offer a refund, exchange, credit or discount including partial or full credit for the return postage cost.
In order to qualify for a refund, the issue must be raised immediately with Teaka via email on [email protected]. We will not address your issue via social media. Without photos or proof of purchase/damage, the refund, exchange, credit or discount does not need to be offered.
User error does not warrant a refund, exchange, credit or discount. Please follow the provided instruction on the packaging.
If your order is cancelled for any reason, including but not limited to fraud detection, incorrect shipping information provided or the like - you may be charged a restocking and/or cancellation fee.
A discount may be offered instead of a refund or exchange.
Exchange: For hygiene reasons,Teaka does not offer exchanges nor refunds on products due to a simple change of mind.
Please note, simply being unhappy with a product does not warrant a refund, credit or exchange.
Options are - refund or exchange or credit or discount offer. Options will never include more than one of these options.
Postal damage of a product: If your order arrives damaged to you from the post, please take a photo of your product in its packaging immediately and send to [email protected] along with your invoice number and date of arrival. Failure to raise the issue immediately may result in no offer of refund or exchange.
If the ordered products are damaged as a result of our lack of reasonable protection of packaging, we will be happy to reimburse. The amount will be determined after the damage is reviewed. If the item(s) are deemed damaged from excessive mishandling by the shipment company, a claim must be lodged with Australia Post or Sendle for reimbursement. We will provide details to assist you with this process.
Late/missing products: If you order is late, refer to your updated tracking email to track your parcel with Australia Post or Sendle. If this does not rectify your issue, please contact us directly on [email protected] to address the issue.
Once the order is sent and we provide a postal tracking number, Teaka is no longer responsible for the goods nor for a refund due to being lost in transit. For lost parcel tracking enquirers, please see Australia Post/Sendle's tracking details.
Return Shipping: You may be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item depending on the reason for the return. Return shipping costs may not be refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be partially or fully deducted from your refund.
Intellectual Property Rights
Nothing contained on this website is to be interpreted as a recommendation to use any information on this website in a manner which infringes the intellectual property rights of any person. Teaka makes no representations or warranties that your use of the information on this website will not infringe such intellectual property rights.

Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. If you are a minor then you should not be using the Site and we accept no liability for Minors trading with us.
